OpenData VizLab
Мабуть, найактуальніше за останній час: лабораторія візуалізації відкритих даних для освіти та громад. Ініціатива громадянської науки від Бердянського державного педагогічного університету покликана «створити відкриту бібліотеку прикладів візуалізації даних для використання в освіті, соціальних дослідженнях і розвитку громад».
Хто може долучитися: педагоги, студенти та всі охочі.
Як долучитися: на основі відкритого набору даних або спираючись на власні спостереження візуалізувати інформацію у вигляді діаграми, графіку чи карти. Організатори допускають використання будь-якого зручного інструмента (Python, R, Excel тощо).
Результати та оцінювання: усі подані роботи після перевірки будуть оприлюднені у відкритій бібліотеці прикладів, що стане доступною для кожного. Найцікавіші роботи потраплять на відкрите голосування в соцмережах університету, а переможцям передбачені сертифікати і призи від БДПУ.

Конкурс НФДУ «Прикладна наука для стійкості та відновлення України»
Мета – створити науково-технічні продукти, що матимуть потенційно високу додану вартість або/і ті, що можуть бути впроваджені у виробництві, соціальній сфері чи у будь-якій іншій.
Конкурс зорієнтований на дослідження та розробки, що сприятимуть зміцненню стійкості України:
- нові технології, матеріали та інженерні рішення;
- методи для моделювання, оптимізації і керування процесами в умовах ризику та обмеженості ресурсів;
- іновації у сфері екологічної безпеки та збалансованого природокористування;
- біомедичні технології, медична інженерія та системи реабілітації;
- рішення у галузі управління, організації, економіки, сервісу – моделі, системи, методики та цифрові інструменти – для забезпечення стійкості, відновлення і розвитку України;
- продукт, що спрямовуватиметься на посилення інформаційної, культурної та комунікативної безпеки України.
Основні дати: прийом заявок триватиме з 10 квітня по 11 травня 2026 року.
«Найкращий молодий учений»
Щорічний конкурс за ініціативи Ради молодих учених Бердянського державного педагогічного університету задля підтримки та стимулювання науки університету як серед викладачів, так і здобувачів.
Хто може взяти участь: молоді вчені, які працювали або здобували освіту в БДПУ щонайменше ротягом останнього календарного року.
Конкурс традиційно проходить у кількох номінаціях:
- науковий ментор;
- популяризатор науки;
- науковий прорив (викладач);
- науковий прорив (здобувач).
Основні дати: заявки приймають з 9 березня по 12 квітня 2026 року.

Організатори у пошуках актуальних індивідуальних проєктів українських вчених з виконання передових наукових досліджень і розробок.
Тематика проєктів:
- нацбезпека і оборона;
- дослідження можливостей забезпечення конкурентоспроможності України у світі та сталого розвитку суспільства і держави;
- інформаційні та комунікаційні технології;
- енергетика і енергоефективність;

- нові речовини та матеріали.

Scientific activities: a review of the latest proposals
We offer you a digest of scientific opportunities: for students, teachers, scientists and those who are interested.
OpenData VizLab
Perhaps the most relevant recently: an open data visualization laboratory for education and communities. The citizen science initiative from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University is designed to “create an open library of data visualization examples for use in education, social research and community development”.
Who can join: teachers, students and anyone interested.
How to join: based on an open data set or relying on your own observations, visualize information in the form of a diagram, graph or map. The organizers allow the use of any convenient tool (Python, R, Excel, etc.).
Results and evaluation: all submitted works will be published in an open library of examples after verification, which will become available to everyone. The most interesting works will be put to an open vote on the university’s social networks, and the winners will receive certificates and prizes from the BSPU.

NFRU Competition “Applied Science for the Sustainability and Restoration of Ukraine”
The goal is to create scientific and technical products that will have potentially high added value and/or those that can be implemented in production, the social sphere or any other.
The competition is focused on research and development that will contribute to strengthening the sustainability of Ukraine:
- new technologies, materials and engineering solutions;
- methods for modeling, optimizing and managing processes under conditions of risk and resource constraints;
- innovations in the field of environmental safety and sustainable nature management;
- biomedical technologies, medical engineering and rehabilitation systems;
- solutions in the field of management, organization, economics, service – models, systems, methodologies and digital tools – to ensure the sustainability, recovery and development of Ukraine;
- a product that will be aimed at strengthening the information, cultural and communicative security of Ukraine.
Key dates: applications will be accepted from April 10 to May 11, 2026.
“The Best Young Scientist”
Annual competition initiated by the Council of Young Scientists of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University to support and stimulate university science among both teachers and applicants.
Who can participate: young scientists who have worked or studied at the BSPU for at least the last calendar year.
The competition is traditionally held in several nominations:
- scientific mentor;
- popularizer of science;
- scientific breakthrough (teacher);
- scientific breakthrough (applicant).

NFRU Competition “Individual Scientific Projects 2027-2028”
The organizers are looking for relevant individual projects of Ukrainian scientists to carry out advanced scientific research and development.
Project topics:
- national security and defense;
- research into the possibilities of ensuring Ukraine’s competitiveness in the world and sustainable development of society and the state;
- information and communication technologies;
- energy and energy efficiency;
- rational environmental management;
- new substances and materials.
