Викладачі, здобувачі освіти та співробітники Бердянського державного педагогічного університету у Львові відвідали концептуальну виставку «ВІН: Т. Г. Шевченко – художник», представлену у Zenyk Art Gallery.
Експозиція стала справжнім відкриттям для відвідувачів, адже дозволила по-новому поглянути на постать Тараса Шевченка – не лише як національного поета й автора «Кобзаря», а як художника європейського масштабу, академіка гравюри та новатора мистецької думки. У межах виставки представлено 58 живописних і графічних творів різних періодів творчості митця. Експозиція побудована за принципом «образ і мотив» та охоплює ключові тематичні блоки: автопортрети, серію «Живописна Україна», цикл «Блудний син», роботи періоду заслання, твори часу навчання в Академії мистецтв і портрети жінок. Усі представлені роботи належать до колекції Національний музей Тараса Шевченка.
Особливе враження на учасників справила атмосфера виставки, де класичне мистецтво поєднується із сучасними підходами до експозиції та осмислення творчої спадщини митця. Відвідувачі мали змогу не лише побачити оригінальні роботи Шевченка, а й глибше відчути його емоційний, філософський і соціальний світ через художні образи та символи.
Такі культурні ініціативи сприяють збереженню національної пам’яті, формуванню мистецького світогляду молоді та відкривають нові грані української культурної спадщини. Відвідування виставки стало для представників університетської спільноти джерелом натхнення, нових роздумів і ще одним нагадуванням про глибину та актуальність творчості Тараса Шевченка сьогодні.

“HE: T. H. Shevchenko – the Artist”
Faculty, students, and staff of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University in Lviv visited the conceptual exhibition “HE: T. H. Shevchenko – the Artist,” presented at Zenyk Art Gallery.
The exhibition was a genuine revelation for visitors, allowing them to see Taras Shevchenko in a new light—not only as a national poet and author of “Kobzar” but also as a European-scale artist, an academic master of engraving, and an innovator of artistic thought. The exhibition featured 58 paintings and graphic works from various creative periods of the artist. The display was organized according to the principle of “image and motif” and covered key thematic blocks: self-portraits, the series “Picturesque Ukraine,” the cycle “The Prodigal Son,” works from the period of exile, pieces created during studies at the Academy of Arts, and portraits of women. All exhibited works belong to the collection of the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko.
The atmosphere of the exhibition made a particular impression on the participants, where classical art is combined with modern approaches to exhibition and understanding of the artist’s creative heritage. Visitors had the opportunity not only to see Shevchenko’s original works but also to deeply feel his emotional, philosophical, and social world through artistic images and symbols.
Such cultural initiatives contribute to preserving national memory, shaping the artistic worldview of young people, and revealing new facets of Ukrainian cultural heritage. Visiting the exhibition became a source of inspiration, new reflections, and yet another reminder for the university community about the depth and relevance of Taras Shevchenko’s work today.
