28 вересня 2026 року відбулася цікава зустріч для першокурсників соціально-гуманітарного факультету Бердянського державного педагогічного університету — онлайн-знайомство з інтелектуальним серцем нашого вишу. Фахівці бібліотеки БДПУ провели для здобувачів вищої освіти захопливу віртуальну екскурсію, покликану відкрити всі можливості сучасного інформаційного простору університету.
Під час інтерактивної зустрічі бібліотекарки детально продемонстрували студентській молоді, як ефективно користуватися електронними ресурсами, фондами та каталогами БДПУ. Здобувачі освіти дізналися про: електронний каталог та репозитарій і як у декілька кліків знайти необхідні підручники, наукові праці викладачів та матеріали для підготовки до семінарських занять; про алгоритми пошуку джерел та секрети швидкого і якісного добору літератури для курсових і наукових робіт; про віддалений доступ і як користуватися ресурсами бібліотеки з будь-якого куточка світу 24/7.
Для майбутніх істориків, філологів, правознавців, економістів, журналістів, перекладачів — це основа професійного успіху. Віртуальний формат не лише не став на заваді живій комунікації, а й дозволив студентам одразу протестувати цифрові сервіси на власних пристроях.
Представники бібліотеки запевнили першокурсників, що завжди готові надати інформаційну підтримку, консультації щодо пошуку літератури та допомогти в реалізації перших наукових кроків.

Digital knowledge space — a virtual tour of the BSPU library for first-year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
On 28 September 2026, an interesting event took place for first-year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Berdiansk State Pedagogical University — an online introduction to the intellectual heart of our university. Specialists from the BSPU library led the students on a fascinating virtual tour, designed to reveal all the possibilities of the university’s modern information environment.
During the interactive session, the librarians demonstrated in detail to the students how to use BSPU’s electronic resources, collections and catalogues effectively. The students learnt about: electronic catalogue and repository, and how to find the necessary textbooks, academic works and materials to prepare for seminars; search algorithms and the secrets of quickly and effectively selecting literature for coursework and research papers; and remote access and how to use the library’s resources from any corner of the world, 24/7.
For future historians, philologists, lawyers, economists, journalists and translators, this is the foundation of professional success. The virtual format not only did not hinder face-to-face communication but also allowed students to immediately try out the digital services on their own devices.
Representatives from the library assured the first-year students that they are always ready to provide information support, advice on literature searches and assistance with taking their first steps in academic research.
