У межах Національного тижня безбар’єрності на факультеті психолого-педагогічної освіти та мистецтв БДПУ відбулася тематична кураторська година «Світ без бар’єрів: Україна для всіх». Спікеркою заходу стала Лада Чемоніна, кандидатка педагогічних наук, доцентка кафедри початкової освіти БДПУ. Її виступ поєднав наукову глибину з практичними вправами, які допомогли учасникам відчути й осмислити важливість безбар’єрності в сучасному суспільстві.
На початку зустрічі студенти та викладачі виконали інтерактивну вправу: написали своє ім’я рукою, якою зазвичай не пишуть. Просте завдання викликало певний дискомфорт і стало символічним досвідом, адже допомогло зрозуміти, з якими труднощами щодня стикаються люди з особливими потребами. Саме цей момент став відправною точкою для розмови про поняття «бар’єр» та необхідність його подолання.
Далі учасники обговорили ключові аспекти безбар’єрності, ділилися власними історіями взаємодії з людьми, які мають життєві труднощі чи обмеження. Особливу увагу було приділено темам підтримки, толерантності та поваги у спілкуванні, адже саме вони формують основу суспільства, у якому кожен почувається прийнятим і важливим.
Великий інтерес викликав інтерактив «Відчуй труднощі». У сесійних залах учасники виконували завдання, що моделювали різні життєві ситуації. Після вправи присутні ділилися емоціями та висновками, усвідомлюючи, наскільки важливими є підтримка, емпатія та розуміння інших. Не менш захопливою стала гра «Мова поваги», під час якої студенти та викладачі добирали слова й вислови, що створюють атмосферу прийняття та взаємоповаги. Адже саме мова здатна не лише описувати реальність, а й формувати її.
Завершенням зустрічі стала відверта рефлексія: учасники ділилися тим, що найбільше вразило, які висновки вони зробили та що прагнуть змінити у власному ставленні до інших. Кураторська година пройшла у теплій і доброзичливій атмосфері. Присутні активно долучалися до обговорень, демонструючи щиру зацікавленість темою та готовність спільно творити суспільство без бар’єрів.
Такі ініціативи формують культуру взаємоповаги, рівності можливостей та людяності. «Світ без бар’єрів» — це не лише гасло, а реальний простір, який ми створюємо разом: простір відкритості, підтримки та прийняття для кожного.

World without barriers: ukraine for everyone
As part of the National Accessibility Week, the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of BSPU held a thematic curator’s hour entitled “World Without Barriers: Ukraine for Everyone.” The speaker of the event was Lada Chemonina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Primary Education at BSPU. Her presentation combined academic depth with practical activities that helped participants feel and understand the importance of accessibility in modern society.
At the beginning of the meeting, students and teachers took part in an interactive exercise: they were asked to write their names using the hand they do not usually write with. This simple task caused a certain discomfort and became a symbolic experience, helping participants realize the difficulties people with special needs face every day. This activity became the starting point for discussing the concept of “barriers” and the necessity of overcoming them.
The participants then discussed key aspects of accessibility and shared their own experiences of interacting with people who face life challenges or limitations. Special attention was paid to the topics of support, tolerance, and respect in communication, as these values form the foundation of a society in which everyone feels accepted and valued.
Particular interest was sparked by the interactive activity “Feel the Difficulties.” In breakout rooms, participants completed tasks simulating various life situations. After the exercise, they shared their emotions and reflections, realizing how important support, empathy, and understanding of others truly are. Equally engaging was the game “The Language of Respect,” during which students and teachers selected words and expressions that create an atmosphere of acceptance and mutual respect. After all, language not only describes reality but also shapes it.
The meeting concluded with an open reflection session, during which participants shared what impressed them most, the conclusions they had drawn, and what they wished to change in their own attitudes toward others. The curator’s hour was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Participants actively engaged in discussions, demonstrating sincere interest in the topic and a willingness to work together toward building a barrier-free society.
Such initiatives foster a culture of mutual respect, equal opportunities, and humanity. “World Without Barriers” is not just a slogan, but a real space that we create together — a space of openness, support, and acceptance for everyone.
