Нещодавно на факультеті психолого-педагогічної освіти та мистецтв Бердянського державного педагогічного університету старша викладачка кафедри початкової освіти Ольга Качерова провела творчий майстер-клас на тему «Велесова ніч».
Під час заходу студенти дізналися про давні українські традиції святкування ночі з 31 жовтня на 1 листопада. За віруваннями, це час, коли межа між світом живих і потойбіччям ставала особливо тонкою. Ольга Качерова розповіла про символіку гарбуза, вогню та світла в обрядах цього періоду, наголосивши на глибинному змісті народних звичаїв і зв’язку людини з природою.
У практичній частині майстер-класу студенти власноруч створювали троянди з осіннього листя та розписували гіпсові гарбузи фарбами, втілюючи власне бачення осінньої традиції у формуванні української ідентичності.
Атмосфера заходу була сповнена естетикою, теплом, яскравими барвами та магією натхнення.

Creative Workshop for Primary Education Students «Veles Night»
Recently, at the Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Education and Arts of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Primary Education Olha Kacherova conducted a creative workshop titled “Veles Night.”
During the event, students learned about ancient Ukrainian traditions of celebrating the night from October 31 to November 1 – a time when, according to ancient beliefs, the boundary between the world of the living and the otherworld became especially thin. Olha Kacherova spoke about the symbolism of the pumpkin, fire, and light in the rituals of this period, emphasizing the profound meaning of folk customs and the connection between humans and nature.
In the practical part of the workshop, students created roses from autumn leaves and painted plaster pumpkins, expressing their personal artistic vision of this autumn tradition and its role in shaping Ukrainian identity.
The atmosphere of the event was filled with aesthetics, warmth, vibrant colors, and the magic of inspiration.
