Викладачі кафедри економіки, менеджменту та фінансів Бердянського державного педагогічного університету – кандидати економічних наук, доцентки Глазова Яна, Леміш Катерина, Сидорченко Тетяна та старша викладачка Швачко Вікторія – взяли участь у міжнародному курсі підвищення кваліфікації «Рецензування в епоху відкритої та відтворюваної науки: нові виклики та можливості», що відбувався у листопаді в онлайн-форматі за участю вітчизняних та іноземних науковців і експертів.
У межах програми було розглянуто актуальні питання розвитку академічного рецензування в умовах поширення принципів відкритої науки та забезпечення відтворюваності наукових досліджень. Зокрема, увагу приділено основним концептам відтворюваної науки, сучасним підходам до оцінювання наукових праць, використанню цифрових платформ і сервісів для організації процесу рецензування, а також ролі відкритих даних і дослідницьких репозитаріїв у підвищенні якості наукових публікацій.
Окремий акцент було зроблено на питаннях етичного та прозорого використання інструментів штучного інтелекту в наукових дослідженнях і рецензуванні, зокрема щодо належного розкриття внеску ШІ та дотримання принципів академічної доброчесності. Також розглядалися практики перевірки програмного забезпечення і програмного коду як складових наукових результатів, інструменти забезпечення відтворюваності дослідницького програмного забезпечення, а також сучасні цифрові й ШІ-інструменти для підвищення ефективності роботи рецензентів.
Значну увагу в програмі було приділено питанням управління дослідницькими даними, впровадженню FAIR-принципів, стандартизації даних, етичним аспектам наукових досліджень, а також формуванню відповідних політик і практик у закладах вищої освіти.
Участь викладачів кафедри у зазначеному міжнародному заході сприятиме вдосконаленню науково-дослідної та освітньої діяльності, оновленню підходів до підготовки й рецензування наукових публікацій, підвищенню якості дослідницьких результатів та інтеграції Бердянського державного педагогічного університету у міжнародний простір відкритої науки.

Participation of the Academic Staff of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance of BSPU in an International Professional Development Programme “Peer Review in the Era of Open and Reproducible Science: New Challenges and Opportunities”
Academic staff members of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University – PhD in Economics, Associate Professors Yana Hlazova, Kateryna Lemish, Tetiana Sydorchenko, and Senior Lecturer Viktoriia Shvachko – took part in the international professional development course “Peer Review in the Era of Open and Reproducible Science: New Challenges and Opportunities”, which was held online in November with the participation of Ukrainian and international scholars and experts.
Within the framework of the programme, key issues related to the development of academic peer review in the context of the dissemination of open science principles and the assurance of research reproducibility were addressed. In particular, attention was paid to the core concepts of reproducible science, contemporary approaches to the evaluation of scholarly works, the use of digital platforms and services for organizing the peer review process, as well as the role of open data and research repositories in enhancing the quality of scientific publications.
Special emphasis was placed on the ethical and transparent use of artificial intelligence tools in research and peer review, including appropriate disclosure of AI contributions and compliance with the principles of academic integrity. The programme also covered practices for reviewing research software and source code as components of research outputs, tools for ensuring the reproducibility of research software, and modern digital and AI-based tools aimed at improving the effectiveness of reviewers’ work.
Considerable attention was devoted to issues of research data management, the implementation of FAIR principles, data standardization, ethical aspects of scientific research, and the development of relevant policies and practices in higher education institutions.
Participation in this international professional development programme will contribute to the enhancement of research and teaching activities, the modernization of approaches to the preparation and peer review of scientific publications, the improvement of research quality, and the integration of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University into the international open science community.
