22 квітня 2026 року відбулася відкрита лекція на тему «Розвиток психологічної науки і практики в Україні», яку провела Євгенія Кочерга, канд. пед. наук, доцент кафедри психології ФППОМ, в межах ОК Історія психології ОПП «Психологія» першого рівня вищої освіти за спеціальністю С4 Психологія.
В ході лекції були розглянуті питання зародження психологічних знань на території України в період Київської Русі, розвиток психології в Україні в ХVII ст. (Касіян Сокович, Інокентій Гізель, Симеон Яворський), психологічна думка в українській філософії ХVIIІ ст. (Феофан Прокопович, Григорій Сковорода), становлення наукової психології (кінець XIX – поч. XX ст.), українська психологія у XX ст.
Під час лекції викладачка поділилася презентацією з теми, навела цікаві історичні факти, підтримувала постійний зворотний зв’язок. Це сприяло встановленню контакту з аудиторією, породжувало емоційний відгук здобувачів та заохочувало до активізації їхньої пізнавальної діяльності.
Дотримуючись таких принципів викладу лекційного матеріалу, як науковість, системність, доступність, ґрунтовність, зв’язок матеріалу з професійною діяльністю, проблемність, комунікативна співпраця, лекторка домоглася викладу значного обсягу інформації та подала її на високому науково-методичному рівні.
Розглянуті питання сприяли формуванню у слухачів цілісного уявлення про розвиток психології в Україні та розкрили вагомий внесок української психологічної традиції в сучасну психологічну науку і практику.

Open Lecture on the History of Psychology: From the Past to the Present
On April 22, 2026, an open lecture titled “The Development of Psychological Science and Practice in Ukraine” was held. The lecture was delivered by Yevheniia Kocherha, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology (Faculty of Postgraduate Education and Management), as part of the “History of Psychology” course for the “Psychology” educational program (Bachelor’s degree level).
During the session, the following topics were explored: the origins of psychological knowledge in the territory of Ukraine during the Kyivan Rus era; the development of psychology in the 17th century (Kasian Sokovych, Inokentii Gizel, Simeon Polotsky); psychological thought in 18th-century Ukrainian philosophy (Feofan Prokopovych, Hryhorii Skovoroda); the establishment of scientific psychology (late 19th – early 20th centuries); and the development of Ukrainian psychology throughout the 20th century.
The lecturer utilized an engaging presentation, shared compelling historical facts, and maintained constant feedback with the audience. This fostered a strong connection with the students, evoked emotional engagement, and encouraged active participation in the learning process.
By adhering to principles such as scientific rigor, systematic structure, accessibility, thoroughness, professional relevance, problem-based learning, and communicative cooperation, the lecturer effectively delivered a significant volume of information at a high scientific and methodological level.
The topics covered helped students form a holistic understanding of the development of psychology in Ukraine and highlighted the significant contribution of the Ukrainian psychological tradition to modern science and practice.
