Здобувачі освіти першого курсу магістратури денної та заочної форм навчання спеціальності А2 «Дошкільна освіта» факультету дошкільної, спеціальної та соціальної освіти Бердянського державного педагогічного університету 22.10.2026 долучилися до інформаційного заходу з академічного письма, організованого бібліотекою БДПУ.
Під час зустрічі учасники поглибили знання про академічне письмо як важливу складову наукової діяльності та ознайомилися з основними вимогами до створення якісного наукового тексту. Особливу увагу було приділено структурі академічної роботи, видам академічного письма, особливостям підготовки бібліографічного огляду літератури та здійснення огляду наукових джерел для обґрунтування дослідницької проблеми.
Важливою частиною заходу стало обговорення принципів академічної доброчесності. Магістранти дізналися про перевірку наукових текстів на наявність текстових запозичень, вимоги до коректного цитування й оформлення посилань, а також особливості декларування використання генеративного штучного інтелекту під час підготовки академічних робіт.
Практичну цінність зустрічі становила інформація про можливості інституційного репозитарію БДПУ, який забезпечує доступ до наукових і навчально-методичних праць університетської спільноти та є корисним ресурсом для підготовки курсових, кваліфікаційних і наукових робіт.
Захід сприяв поглибленню інформаційної та дослідницької компетентностей здобувачів, систематизації знань про пошук і опрацювання наукової літератури та усвідомленню важливості дотримання принципів академічної доброчесності. Отримані рекомендації стануть у нагоді під час підготовки магістерських кваліфікаційних робіт і подальшої наукової діяльності.

Academic Writing: From Finding Sources to Producing a High-Quality Academic Text
First-year master’s students enrolled in the full-time and part-time study programmes in A2 “Preschool Education” at the Faculty of Preschool, Special and Social Education of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University 22.10.2026 took part in an information session on academic writing organised by the BSPU Library.
During the session, participants deepened their understanding of academic writing as an essential component of research and became familiar with the main requirements for producing high-quality academic texts. Particular attention was paid to the structure of academic papers, types of academic writing, the preparation of literature reviews, and the analysis of scholarly sources to provide a sound rationale for a research problem.
An important part of the event focused on the principles of academic integrity. The master’s students learned about checking academic texts for textual overlap, the requirements for proper citation and referencing, and the procedures for declaring the use of generative artificial intelligence when preparing academic papers.
The information about the opportunities offered by the BSPU institutional repository was particularly valuable. The repository provides access to the scholarly and teaching-related publications produced by the university community and serves as a useful resource for preparing coursework, degree theses, and research papers.
The event contributed to the development of students’ information literacy and research competencies, helped them consolidate their knowledge of searching for and analysing scholarly literature, and reinforced their understanding of the importance of upholding the principles of academic integrity. The recommendations provided will be valuable in preparing master’s theses and pursuing further research activities.
