Results of the Professional Internship for Master’s Students in Psychology at KhGPA

For several years now, the Department of Psychology within the Faculty of Psychology, Pedagogy, and Educational Management (PPOM) has served as a robust platform for the professional development of future psychologists at the Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy. Throughout September and October, master’s degree students specializing in Psychology – Sofiia Bulavina, Valeriia Horiainova, Alona Lesniak, Anna Komova, Valeriia Omelchuk, and Anastasiia Tyshchenko – successfully completed their professional internships at the Department.

During the delivery of classes for educational components such as “History of Psychology,” “Psychology of Social Influence,” “Psychology of Stress,” and “Introduction to the Specialty,” the students demonstrated a solid theoretical foundation and a high level of practical skills. The internship supervisors from the Department of Psychology – Nataliia Serdiuk, Yevheniia Kocherha, and Oksana Strilchuk – spoke highly of the trainees’ work. They noted that the master’s students possess a strong command of modern psychological and digital tools, confidently apply higher education teaching methodologies, and demonstrate a high level of psychological culture and professional ethics.

The feedback from students who attended the classes serves as clear evidence of the high-quality professional training received by the master’s students. The participants highly valued the modern, interactive format, which incorporated digital platforms, engaging presentations, and practical case studies. Furthermore, they highlighted the comfortable atmosphere – a testament to the master’s students’ ability to foster an inclusive, partnership-based educational environment.

We express our gratitude to Serhii Krasin – the internship supervisor from KhGPA and a senior lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Primary Education, and Educational Management – for his high-quality preparation of the master’s students and his professional guidance.

We value our academic partnership, which contributes to the development of the next generation of Ukrainian psychologists!
